More of the Same
S&P 500 lean day finished with modest gains that didn‘t reflect credit market enthusiasm. An upswing is on the way? Probably, I‘m not yet declaring this stock market advance as over – we have way, way more than a week to go still. The advance was led by tech as opposed to value, which was at odds with bonds – we‘re likely to see some rebalancing of yesterday’s risk-off SPX advance in the overall bullish context next.
While miners modestly declined, gold and silver rose, which points to a leaner day ahead today. Commodities (and especially oil) have more catching up to do, and that would reflect positively upon silver as well. Finally, cryptos don‘t favor a sea of red anywhere today – we‘re likely to be treated to a reasonably fine day of gains in both paper and real assets today.
There won’t be a regular analysis featuring charts or Twitter activities for most of this week either, but I’m keeping a close eye on the markets and will issue a sound commentary whenever required by the markets on my watch.
Thank you for your patience.
